YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy, in plain language.

What goes into a CasePloy workspace, why it is there, and who controls it.

Before public release

Product privacy overview. The operator’s full privacy notice, contact details and retention schedule must be finalized before public release.

Information in your workspace

Account setup collects your name, work email, firm details and password. Your firm can add client and contact information, intake responses, incident details, medical records, insurance information, case notes, tasks and demand documents.

How the product uses it

CasePloy uses account information to sign you in and connect you to a firm. Case information supports the workflows your firm uses: finding records, assigning work, assembling documents and maintaining case history. A demand template fills only the fields your firm maps or enters.

Firm access and sharing

A workspace has members with assigned roles. Owners and administrators can manage team access and certain review actions. Client intake links accept information for the firm that issued the link. Downloaded documents and packages are under your firm’s control after export.

Cookies and connected services

A session cookie keeps you signed in. Hosting, database, file storage and email services process information needed to operate the workspace. When Google address suggestions are enabled, text entered in the address search is sent to Google to retrieve suggestions. Service providers and operating locations need to be identified in the final notice.

Corrections, access and retention

Contact the law firm handling your matter to correct case information or request access to its records. Firm owners should coordinate account, export and deletion requests with their service contact. Retention periods, backup deletion and applicable request procedures are not yet specified in this overview.
